New bumper now I need to slam the trunk to close
So I got my new m3 rear bumper installed and painted but now I have to really slam the trunk to get it fully locked. Some times I slam it hard and it still doesn't lock. Is there a fix for this? Why would the bumper effect this? I tried to adjust the bumper but they just turn around and don't go in or out (there must be a way to adjust this things)
ThanksThanks |

Ahhh sorry guys it was late last night. I didnt actually try adjusting the "bumper", I tried adjusting the 2 rubber bumpers that are on the trunk that hit the bumper, but when I turn it either way, it just twists and doesnt move in or out. How do I make these go in and out?

Mine work that way ('09 E92). I just double-checked and they are threaded. They're plastic/nylon. Maybe you have a stripped thread.

This company always seems to amaze me with the quality in their product. So if you turn the base a full 180 you can view adjust the bumpers then to lock it just turn it clockwise a full 180 again
