L7 is dead, what to do now

My amp got wet an wont come back to life. An i already ordered a pioneer 7 inch double din unit. So my question is what to do? Should i look into getting another L7 or go after market. I didnt wanna do a full audio system rite now cause i have other mods to do first. But if im gonna fix it mine as well upgrade. I been searching all day on this an cant find any straight answers or help... thanks guys

You have to go aftermarket

You have to go aftermarket there is not one head unit in existence that will
interface with and L7 amp, besides the OEM one.
Why it has a proprietary Fiber Optic link between the Head Unit and Amp.
Additionally do not get rid of the original head unit because if you ever need
to have reprogramming or repairs that require reprogramming and you have it done at a BMW dealership you will have to have the original head unit installed.
There are other side effects as well depending on what options you have.
