Montreal cruise to VT Oktoberfast BBQ

On Saturday Oktober 6th.

We're getting together for a cruise down to VT for the OktoberFast BBQ.

We leave early in the morning.

More info needed... what time departure? what town are you turning in for the night...

Is this a 2-day event or one day. If one day, I could consider it, but I cannot be away from the familly for an entire weekend. If a one-day event, we might make this the e90Post meet we are trying to set up.

departure time will be early, around a 7AM take off. it is both a one and two day thing. you choose.

the planned trip is the same. the place where we stay is yet to be determined. some are renting a room at Smugglers' Notch.

Not sure how it can work if everyone stays over-the pace of driving will be slower ? At one poitn if I come and am the only one on a one-day routing, I would have to continue where the rest of the group stips for lunch or something like that.

What is the routine once on the road ?

once on the road (with a full tank) we drive directly to the lunch place for the BBQ and then we go to the show. then, those who go back the same day will leave (early evening) and the rest will proceed to their sleeping arrangements to reconvene in the morning for the ride back.

Guys, I don't think I will come - I don't want to have to drive late at night on unfamiliar sideroads to get back the same day and I am not staying overnight. Next time.

Waldorf, the OktoberFast BBQ cruise this weekend looks like it will be a lot of fun. Unfortunately we have other plans and won’t be able to make it. Good Luck!

I'm going... Saturday only... don't know about BBQ... don't know of the route used... don't know if meeting people at Julep.
If I'm going for the day only. I will leave early and pass through Rouses Point and Alburgh... Hero and south Hero...
