I work for a shop and do work on the side for bmw guys. Most people dont want to pay full retail at shops.

Anyway, OP you craftsmanship shows well. Ive been debating installing a system in my car but idk if it would sound as well using the stock system with navi/iDrive

I have done many system in e90 /92 cars and they sound awesome with aftermarket speakers and subs.I am just now getting into building custom sub boxes and pieces due to they are becoming very popular. I wouldnt change the nav but add a 5 channel amp and new speakers with sub and the clarity and sound with increase by 40 -50 %.

I wish I would have video / filmed the systems before we installed most of the setups but honestly it a significant difference in sound and clarity. I am not a shop and I do work for a shop. I am just trying to get into the e90 market and have been doing e46 cars for over a decade. my boss doesnt believe me that this market is worth investing time into so I am going to see what you guys like compared to the e46 bmw community. Not trying to be a vendor but if people want something done at a reasonable or discounted rate I am here to help. I love doing carbon and fiberlgass so I do this on the side of my work.
