Just Carbon Fibre Wrapped My Interior Trim + Wing Mirrors :)
(Warning - Plenty of Images)
This is my first post here on E90 post so hi all! A bit about me, I bought this E90 320D SE a few months ago, my second BMW, it was difficult to move on from my beloved E46 but fuel was killing me.... I mean its bad enough as a student but when you're spending more a week on fuel than food ... I thought first things first, I want to make the car my own so I thought about initially starting to change the interior bit by bit to my taste First Step CF wrapping! Done by me over two days, removed all aspects of the trim including steering wheel, centre console etc then wrapped with Textured Carbon Fibre Vinyl and here are the results, feel free to criticise if you don't like! (by the way is filthy! sorry, haven't had chance to give it a full clean in a while and uprooting all the trim left dust flying around!) |

Hey bud!
I love the interior but just not too sure about the wing mirrors....exterior parts done in CF should IMO be genuine gloss CF weave! But that's just my opinion bud! The interior looks great and a lovely car you have there What else you have planned for it mate? |

It does sound a lot easier than it actually is. You do need multiple sets of hands to get even small jobs done right. Looks like you did a great job! |

You missed the M badge on the steering wheel (at the bottom).
Otherwise excellent work.

I guess OP one is from one series and hence no perforated leather and M badge missing.

Thanks for the compliments and the feedback guys! appreciate it
yeah the cars not an m sport unfortunately was a bit out of my budget otherwise I wouldn't have given a second thought As for the carbon mirrors, yeah I understand what you're saying and I agree, possibly in the future! I've since completely rewrapped my mirrors! After a few days of quick changes in weather from downpour to baking, tiny creases on the inside of the shell, where the vinyl is folded into start expanding and showing, but hopefully combatted the problem now As for what to do to the car in the future, im at a bit of a standstill. I've done tons of research and reading but not quite sure what direction to take. 1) I want to get a set of black VMR alloys to put on it for starts 2) I really want to adapt the body kit, I love the aero lip but unfortunately it doesn't fit the E90, so I've looked at various other lips and splitters for the SE but none so far actually tempt me too much Any advice guys? |

Yes I've seen them myself myself on ebay and in that actual thread but they didn't look as mean to me as I would've liked, but now you've posted that picture of black on black they actually look a ton better!
hmm i'm getting tempted |
