So I have a 2010 E92 335i M Sport, is my suspension the same as a non M sport e92 335i? Same part numbers? Thanks.

Fixed. There is a difference btw the sport package and non-sport package suspension on the e92.

All E92s have the sport suspension regardless of whether they have the sport package or not. This is only the case for the E92 as the e90, E91 and E93 do not have the sport suspension as standard. To get the sport suspension with those models you need to order the sport package.

I think the only exception with the e92 is the xdrive cars, they have the std suspension, the rwd e92 has the sport suspension.

This is not true. It is even mentioned by the BMW engineer when talking about the 435s, he mentioned it was only true for some really early cars to roll off the line. Go look on real OEM and you see there is a PN difference on the struts and shocks. I wish it was true but my 2007 non-sport car did not feel the same as the sport package loaners I would get when having my fuel pump replaced.

No. It really was not standard on the e92 either (only initially when the car first launched). The F32 will come with a standard suspension, with two dynamic settings: Sport and Comfort. M Sport cars will have the same ride height as the standard suspension -- this is something new. Also, xDrive models will have a slightly higher ride height due to their use for driving on snow and ice.

Yes, m-sport > sport > non-sport (in terms of amount of "upgrades/addons" the car has) I would assume m-sport would have everything the sport model does and more.

In the US, M-sport is the the same as Sport.

Pretty sure their not the same.

Sport package doesn't have the M-sport aero kit, M-door sills, M-steering wheel, M-footrest and Lemans Blue colour.

If you're talking about the suspension being the same, that is pretty much what I said. (M-sport > Sport in terms of AMOUNT of upgrades/addons)

I thought all E92s had m-sport suspension; I know mine does (2009)

I know my car has premium and cold weather packages, I *think* it has sport package but not sure (don't have window sticker handy.) Definitely not the m-sport package though, but I do remember seeing "M-sport suspension" as an option code when I decoded it.

Despite that answer, I see on BMW's website that if one looks at the standard features for an E92 coupe, one will see that "sport suspension calibration" is listed as a feature. Moreover, one won't see "sport suspension" listed as an element of the M Sport package. Can one make any inferences from those facts? Sure. Would one's inferences be correct? Only if one is lucky enough to have made the correct inference, but not because there's a way (based on the info I've found) to prove which inference is correct. So what exactly is "sport suspension calibration" as compared to "sport suspension?" I'll be damned if I know, although, I can speculate on what it means as well as anybody can.

It's really quite annoying when the information provided from one BMW source doesn't clearly agree with the info provided from another BMW source.

For what it's worth, I seem to recall that back in 2010 BMW offered something called the Sport Package for the E92, and if memory serves me correctly, there was no sport suspension noted in that package either. It was, I think, wheels, trim, seats and tires. The M Sport Package back then, I think, just added more exterior cosmetic embellishments, different wheels and tires, a black headliner inside, and allowed one to get an M Sport only exterior color or two, which is almost exactly what the E92's M Sport Package now provides.

OP, if you must know, I suggest you contact your SA, provide your VIN number and ask them to tell you definitively. It may also be worth a call to BMWNA if you want to have a discussion on the matter with someone who should be reliable enough to provide you with answers regarding the differences among the 2010 standard E92, one with the Sport Package and one with the M Sport Package.

Thanks for the replies guys. I've ran my VIN through real oem dot com and found out that my car is using the sports suspension although the car is originally equipped with the M sport package. My car is 2010 (but built in late 2009), so my guess is that all the LCI e92 do get the M sport suspension if you have M sport package.

well.. I tried the Russian site but it keeps on telling me that: "Unfortunately, the search returned no results."
