One thing I like Passat over E90 (and it is the only item)
I just see the new VW Passat ad on TV. Only thing I like it over our E90 is .........After you instead your key fob, you push it in to start the car.
I think it make more sence to push the key fob to start the car other then push the "Start". I am talking car without CA here. Anyone feel the same? (and thats the only item I like it over our lovely E90)

N/A for me. I have Comfort Access....a standard feature on my friend's Toyota Prius and my girlfriend's Suzuki Grand Vitara. Both of those cars are under $23K here in the US. Just thought I would mention that.

I believe that BMW's thinking here is not so much convenience with the remote/start button combo but heritage.
I dont mind the current arrangement as I insert the remote, open the sunroof (wether permitting of course) to air out the car, press the accept button and put seat belt on. Then I am ready to start the car. EASY!!!

I think they should make comfort access standard on the bmw's. Its an add on that I am glad to have picked when building my car. Makes a lot easier and you don't have to worry about scratching your paint on your car with the keys on those late dark nights

I like having to turn the key and I like the old key design better, even on a Ferrari I would have preferred to not have the engine button. Can't a guy like twisting things?

As soon as I saw that stupid button, I though "I have to get CA". CA should be standard in my view.
I agree with Xens, twisting things is so much more satisfying... lol

I've gotten used to this strange quirk, but the problem is when you valet your precious E90. I have valet a few times and each time I had to explain to the valet how to remove the VALET key.... what a hassle. Comfort Access come wit a different valet key, yes? .

I think the only improvement is to have a smart key just like E class Mercedez and Lexus IS350. Don't need to feed any keyfob to the car but just press the start button to start the car.

The pain in my thumb must be causing me to use verbs where adjectives are needed. I really need CA before I fall apart.

My post September built car doesnt require key to open driver's door, passenger door, or trunk. Just pull and open.
Nice feature I found yesterday. I walked out of the car and slid my finger accross the door handle to lock it. It didnt lock. I did it again, still nothing. I just check my pockets for my keys and dont feel them, look inside they are on the seat. I grab the key, slid my finger accross, and viola, doors lock. Smart little bimmer...
