DS Mode Help!

Hello everyone on the Forum, I need a little help/advice. I used the search button but my issue is a little different than everything I've found, The Issue I'm having is not that my car won't go into DS mode, It's that it will engage DS mode only when the shifter is in the middle position of D and DS mode. (to the left of D but not far enough where you car move the shifter up and down to change gears) is there some soft of adjustment under the boot? Whenever people had a problem it was that one of the wires lost connection and broke but that's not the issue I'm having because it still engages? I'd like to have a game plan before I take everything apart, Please help me out guys, thank you.

What happens when you move the shifter all the way to the left? Does it stay in D or go straight to M?

It will go back into D.

In the regular drive position it's in D, then half way over to the left it will engage DS mode and then it will go back to D when the shifter is all the way to the left.

and if I leave the shifter in the middle, DS mode will stay engaged and work as if the shifter was all the way to the left.

Wires most likely snapped. youll get weird DS mode engagements.

Its not much to take apart. there are DIY and videos of how to fix it.

Its the wires, my DS would also only engage in between D and DS, i just did the repair last night, when I took the tape off that held the wires together everything looked fine until I started carefully feeling them and most of them had the plastic shielding slightly cut, then one wire just snapped while i was inspecting the others.

After also having the Alpina B3 flash done yesterday, DS feels awesome, glad to have it back

Yeah.. But the lines are long and it's only 1/8 mile... I don't do it too often.

When you say upgraded fuel pump, do you mean in-line lpfp?

My list is not as extensive as yours but I have enough mods to put down 430whp
