Fog light when cornering ?

Why BMW doesnt have that simple feature like Mercedes ? When you make a left turn with left turn signal then left fog light turns ON and later it goes softly OFF. It looks good and makes a difference when its dark outside. Or maybe there is that on some models ?

BMW does have this feature (Only on the coupes) but its not the foglights, its a light inside the headlight cluster.

There is an option called "adaptive corner light" ( <- tried to transpate it from german ). Headlights turn into the corner. I bought this option, works good. Active steering is a great option as well. Are you in the US limited getting options ? Here in EU you can buy every single option available ( can make the car expensive

). There is an additioal options line, called "BWM inividual". They make everything you want as long as it is street-legal. Very expensive.

Not just for the coupes, I have it on my 335i sedan.

I had a 1975 Cadillac Coupe De'Ville. Hell it had cornering lights, Whoop-de-fucking-do...

My BMW has them as well.

Hardly a Mercedes "innovation"...

My 97 maxima did as well.

I think the adaptive headlights do a good job of lighting the corner. I'm happy with it.

one thing i noticed as well, when i turn my steering wheel to left or right, the INNER HEADLIGHT turns on automatically. Once my steering wheel goes straight, it goes of.

the sedan's lights turn, but the cornering lighting is not as noticible as on the couple. because the coupes have an additional light that turns on when it turns, the sedan just moves.

Yes, that's the cornering lamp in the coupes. Turn on your blinker and/or turn the wheel to activate.

My E93 has it the same as the coupe. It's no big deal, other 10+ old cars I've had have had it, but it's nice just the same.
