jb4 g5 issues (my own fault i assume) - logs attached
So i installed my jb4 last night and because im an absolute moron i clipped the wrong capacitors (the parallel ones rather than the 2 in line ISO ones) - car had been working but when i got home and re-looked over the instructions i realized what i had done and pulled the unit out to resolder after speaking with Jon@bms. I then had an issue where it was just cranking due to the power pin (2) not being completely in, but worked all this out got the car running and got the g5 back in.
immediately after installing i got a 3100 error. quadruple checked connections, etc - i'm left to believe it was poor soldering of the accidental snips from last night but i'm really unsure of what is going on after looking at the logs. i'm clearly no expert - would someone mind checking these out? i'm confused why w/3100 active its boosting at all, and to that point at times boosting higher than target. Anyone see anythign goofy in these? Appreciate everyone's help! |
