LCI hood on pre-lci?
Will an 08+ LCI hood fit a pre-lci 07'? Looking at carbon fiber hoods online but all the ones i want are specified as 08+ (LCI)

E90 prelci is 2005-2008 lci hoods 2009+. Lci hood will work on prelci car. Only issue is kidney grille fitment. TKe a look at my lci conversion thread. I have a pic of lci hood on my e90

so you'd need the lci bumper to match?

Hood is interchangeable but you would need a new kidney grilles and bumper.

I have the LCI hood and front bumper, they're fine together. Just a little gap so I'll need to get the LCI fenders for it to fit properly.

Since there's a answer, not trying to hi-jack this thread but I need help finding a 2011 coupe vented hood for my car. Why can I not find them online? They're all ugly carbon fiber. Carbon fiber black hood with vermillion red doesn't look so good. Thanks
Also, for some reason, I can't start a thread, and I waited a while for verification.Sorry |

I need it to be a perfect finish, like it'd actually be painting a non carbon fiber item. Plus I'm sure it'll be much more difficult and cost more money painting it. Right now I can get it for $500, but the OEM is 649. I want it to look good, and be professionally done.

there is no need for lci fenders. if there is a gap you need to adjust hood hinges and such. lci and pre-lci fenders are exactly the same. trust me. if there is a big gap on both sides of hood its because you got a non capa certified aftermarket hood from somewhere.

Im about to get my bumper replace under insurance claim. I wanted to know if I can fit a lci bumper with a pre-lci hood and how it would look/fit. I wanna eventually get a LCI hood but gotta save up first. Any advice appreciated.

Save up and get the LCI hood two. You can do it but it looks stupid as hell.
