waiting for my 335i to be shipped
Jet Black/Nav/Sports Package/heat seats. She's on some dock in Bremerhaven Germany, at least its warmer there than here (NYC). There is a boat leaving on the 14th and two on the 19th I hope my baby is on one of them...anyone else here waiting? |

I have a 335xi Coupe in Bremerhaven as well, and am trying to figure out what ship it may be on. I am in Boston, and would appreciate any insight you might be able to provide.

I'm waiting on the dock as well... FAUST leaves at 2300 German time (5pm EST) hopefully my VIN will show up then. Has anyone elses VIN showed up yet? This is my first BMW and I cant wait to get it... I ordered my 335 because I wanted it configured just so, but I had no idea how painful the wait was going to be... I spend way too much time online tracking and obsessing about the delivery.

I have been looking at pictures of the car ships that bring our cars to us and some of them look like they are on their last leg. It made me LOL here are the Bimmers and Mercedes aboard some ship that has seen it better day and limping into port.
My car is going to join yours on the 26 for a ride to the West Coast hope it has some company to sunny so cal |

Does anybody know how long it takes for your vin number to show up on a ship tracking website or how long it takes for the 800# to update your status from waiting for a shipping vessel to it saying its in transit?

My car is also waiting at the dock in Bremerhaven. The latest update from the DBH website lists the following vessels travelling to Port Hueneme, CA:
15.02.2008 FALSTAFF W W L CSIM081 10.03.2008 BREMERHAVEN 16.02.2008 GRAND VENUS NYK-LINE CTMO051 11.03.2008 BREMERHAVEN 20.02.2008 GLOBAL LEADER NYK-LINE CUEX051 15.03.2008 BREMERHAVEN 22.02.2008 TOSCA W W L CSIL081 16.03.2008 BREMERHAVEN 22.02.2008 TAIPAN W W L CSIV081 16.03.2008 BREMERHAVEN 27.02.2008 PHOENIX LEADER NYK-LINE CUE0051 23.03.2008 BREMERHAVEN 01.03.2008 TORONTO W W L CT4Q081 24.03.2008 BREMERHAVEN According to this thread - http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=828 - it appears to state that BMW uses NYK Lines for their west coast deliveries. If that's the case, then our cars would potentially depart on either the 16th, the 20th, or the 27th. |

Me too.
The Faust is the biggest newest ship out there. 21,500 horsepower top speed an amazing 19 knots. I guess we're in the English Channel right now. http://www.vesseltracker.com/en/Ship...t-9332925.html http://www.walleniuslines.com/doc_upload/MVFaust.pdf http://www.2wglobal.com/www/newsFeat...news&oid=15736 |
