Removing chrome trim off E92

Has anyone removed this and has any tips or is there a DIY? I have spent the last hour searching trying to find a DIY on how to remove the chrome trim off an E92? I want to spray it gloss black

the closest I have got to a DIY is the thread below which has tons of pics and not a lot of info on how to remove/push/pull trim out. From looking at the pics I think the top part of the trim you pull out as it is held on with clips. Not too sure how the bottom trim or the rear bottom of the window trim comes out

I have heard that some owners have used a gloss black wrap on their trim. Maybe it's worth doing a search as it's got to be easier than doing a spray job

I did look at vinyl wrapping, but I just thought if i can do this tommorow as i have the paints I wouldn't mind having a go myself

I have emailed a company but not got back to me with price to have it vinyl wrapped (and I get impatient )

Be patient! I don't know that this time of year is ideal for doing spray work anyway, it's a bit cold unless you are planning to do it indoors. To me the good thing about doing it as a wrap is that it's easily reversible and if it gets chipped it's easier to repair.

I have access to painting it indoors so that is not a problem, just worried about breaking clips/bending the trimtrying to get it off
