From what I remember I think the e92 system is a little bit longer than the e90, so the e90 would be too short for you? Not sure if it's diff if you just get the muffler..

I can measure out the length of the pipes and post up the pics here if you want. Then you will know if it's shorter or longer (if short just weld on a 3inch diameter piping) (if longer can always cut to fit).

Ok, the length of the pipes roughly 107 inches.
Resonator pipe roughly 60 inches. Where the resonator pipe and 2ndary cat pipe connect with the clamps, at least 3 inches in. 104 inch pipe length. 2ndary pipe bolts on to headers with stock bolts. 2ndary pipe is 2 1/2 inch diameter piping. Resonator pipe is 3inches, the end is covered in tissue paper, can either weld or clamp. |

No muffler, I'm keeping my Eisenmann race muffler actually. What would work with this is any type of aftermarket muffler. With the added pipe equals more sound and HP. I would look into a magnaflow muffler with this. Will give the low growl from the muffler and and the high scream from the pipes and backfire!

Yeah def sounds tempting but Ive heard some sound clips and have done some research on mufflers and the Eisenmann sounds sooooo sick, so I kind of have my sights set on that (or a GThaus, technically very similar i have also found :/). But I will definitely keep you in mind, btw how much were you looking for?

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=638469 The price brand new is substantially lower and depending on how it's shipped will be much cheaper and it's already broken in. |
