Want to space out the rears and stay at this height. Smaller tires + roll/pull stupid piece of shit thick nasty E90 fenders = less rubbing.

Update from today....
Ever since I got my car I have not been happy with the tint. The tint was on the car when I bought it and the previous owner did it wayyyy too dark. I believe it's 20%. I've never never been pulled over because of it but it's just such a hassle and it is really annoying to constantly have to be rolling down my windows every time I drive past a cop. So today I commenced operation fish bowl. It was a success. I'm sure ill miss my tint for sunlight and keeping my interior cool, etc. But I will be much more relaxed behind the wheel of my car. To get the tint off I used a steamer and a razor blade. It took me a total of about 2 hours for my 2 side windows and the 2 small back windows. I was going to give the rear a shot but I was a little nervous about fucking up the defrost. I'm confident I could do it but Ill just leave it for now and have a professional do it if I can find someone up for the challenge. This shows the front window minus the tint and the rear window still with the tint on it. Huge difference. After shot. I actually really like the look without the tint. And the next thing is not completely finished yet but I'll throw up a teaser. Believe me when I say that I know not many people will like this but I do and that's all that matters I plan to finish it sometime this week if I have time. Im going to do this on the door trim and the dash trim and something different more toned down/neutral on the shifter surround. ........

Well the plaid wasn't working out. I wanted to start my project last Sunday @ 5:30pm so my choices for stores to go to were quite limited. So I just picked up the best thing I could find at the only store that was open.
So yesterday I hit some stores and found exactly what I was looking for, some peanut butter suede. I've wrapped a lot of different things with a lot of different materials but I must say that this is my best work. It turned out money, usually there's always a little spot that I'm not happy with but this material was awesome to work with.* Here's the final result. After getting the trim done I turned to my headliner. Stupid gray headliner. Why did they make it gray! I'm just about to start the process of removing it and doing it in a black suede. I'm also going to do all of the pillars I haven't decided on black or the PB yet. Headliner in question. It clashes pretty bad now. This should be interesting. Wish me luck, I'm going to need it! Stay tuned.* ;D

Hey man, mods are coming along great! I've also been an Audi guy when I didn't have a classic BMW. For the most part i'd had BMW 2002s or E30 318is. Last two cars were 1991 Audi CQ (which was pictured in the dealership where you'd purchased your car now) and then a 2006 A3 2.0t.

But opinions are like assholes everyone has them. Anyways back on topic Got everything pulled to wrap the headliner. It wasn't too bad, kind of fun ripping it apart actually. The one tough part was the sunroof shade. It was a bitch. Luckily I have a buddy who had removed it before so he helped me through it over the phone. Used this DIY: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=303463 Pics! Will update once I'm finished with the pieces tonight.

I like the pb trim. How did you get around the ashtray chrome accent?

Well it proved to be more that a nights work. Lol. Got a lot done but still have a lot to do.
I couldn't leave all the accent pieces grey so they all had to have something done to them. They all got blacked out with different products depending on what the pieces were made out of. These pieces all got plasti dipped. The sun visors got taped off and sprayed with a fabic/vinyl spray paint. Not sure if I am going to paint the plastic around the mirror yet but I'm sure that it will bother me if I dont. These are the pieces that are being wrapped. I have about half of them done so far. Tackling the rest of the pieces and the headliner now. I decided to do the brown on the pillars. It will add some contrast and plus I didn't buy enough black to do it. Lol so it better look good or I'm going to have to get more material and do it over.
