DSC icon changed after coding

Hey All. After the dealer updated my car with new hpfp a while back, I noticed when pressing and holsing down DSC button the icon changed to a car with skid marks on the screen. Last night i coded the digital speedometer and now the icon is back to the original circle with exclamation mark icon, like how it was prior to the dealer software reflash.

Did I just screw something up and downgrade my cars software ? I'm out of warranty so can't go back to dealer...but how can I make sure I have latest flash?

Not sure what happened there but I can assure you it's a lot harder than that to downgrade software. I'm sure it just has something to do with the way the .MAN was written. I'd love to see a before and after fsw file for your KOMBI though.

I'll post it later tonight. I do remember that when i was coding i accidently hit "EXECUTE JOB" and then everything in the car resetted (like the time/date) and whatnot.

Time/date will reset every time you code the KOMBI. Just an unfortunate side-effect.

What is the ECU family in Winkfp? Every one I tried came back with an error, haven't had issues with other modules. I do have an aftermarket radio, could that be causing the problem?

Not familiar with your problems. But I don`t think aftermarket stereo is a part of the problem, I also have aftermarket and no problems there..

Been way to long since last time I updated my car, so don`t really remember what ecu family worked
