Well I was originally planning on an F31 as I needed something a bit bigger but stumbled into a fantastic deal on a new 5. It was so good in fact I couldn't justify a 3. Knew absolutely nothing about them, never even sat in one but was blown away by it. Gone for an 520d M Sport in Sophisto Grey and went silly on the toys!

Got that new car buzz going on at the moment, picking it up Friday so will no doubt take some pics over the weekend!

I'll bet the Merc is quite an amazing place to be? I know sweet FA about them, what's the full spec?

Mercs lovely mate not many toys but more than my old BM had!

I've spec'd HK on the new one so I'm really interested to see how it's going to sound. Haven't heard one yet!

At least if I do get the itch it shouldn't be as hard to upgrade as starting from Base stereo. What about you, any plans or is it sounding sweet already?

Thanks mate! yeah its loads higher. the e90 felt cheap after coming from the missus e64 but id say this is screwed together better than the e64 now too!

Its one of the best threads ive seen mate inspired me to do mine too. I dare say many many others took the jump too after your thread!

the HK is supposed to be really good so im sure youll enjoy it! My audio is standard but to be fair it sounds better then my old install which I couldn't ever seem to get right to make me happy!
