AFAIK only if u get it installed by BMW...so it's not completely true
As I told him on the phone, H&R is the best for street driving, and I used it in autox with good results as well, because understeer kills everything in autox and inside wheel spin is not a huge issue. But in road course, more understeer is acceptable if u want to stay on the safe side, and inside wheel spin on corner exit is a bigger issue. I'm thinking about trying the Hotchkis rear sway bar with stock front sway bar for a good compromise since I'm going to start doing road course next year. However I don't think this set up will make a huge difference for street driving. just my $0.02 |

I would like to stiffen things up a bit but I really don't want to mess with my front and rear biasing.
Based on my driving style, I've noticed that even with the 14mm sway, my rear end wants to break loose when exiting a corner. Right now my biasing is 90/10. If changing the rear sway to the hotchkis, it changes it to 85/15. Interestingly enough, changing the front to the Hotchkis and the rear to the M3 bar is 85/15 as well. I've been contemplating this just to try it since I would be stiffening up the feel quite a bit. I'll be doing the work myself so I don't have to worry about the labor, but it would be nice to see the difference. IMO, people think stiffer is better with sways. They put them on, drive on the freeway and say that they are so good. Sway bars with every day driving is completely different than the feel on the track.
