There have been quite a few revisions/upgrades to the Procede since V1...I had one when they first came out (6 years ago) and loved it and run the V3 on both of our 335s. I would suggest getting a newer one with USB port and better logging and features.

The procede V1 is an outdated, restrictive and frankly, a dangerous tune. There are newer and better options. But hey, it's your car.

I also had one. It was great for its time, but he'd be better served by getting something newer. A lot has changed in tuning for this car. Not to mention compatibility issues that might arise when running this against newer DME update revisions.

My understanding was the rev1 Procede never drove both wastegate solenoids so it was limited in that alone.

I picked up a Rev 2.5 PROcede unit for $200 shipped (looked brand new), installed it and reloaded the firmware/maps to 7-29

I would try to find a Rev 2.5 or 3 used off the forums.

Not worth it for a V1.

The refinements in todays tunes offer better fueling, safer ignition practices, more features and more power.

Yeah I wouldn't bother with a V1. It's up to V5 now and they go pretty cheap second hand.

How many people told you yes vs how many people told you no? You dont seem to care what other people tell you.

you dont seem to realise the goal posts have changed - I'm sure the advert selling this procede said it was a V1 - now he's saying its a V2

so.... i"m actually asking a different question now - Not, is a V1 any good, but is a V2 any good??

I've included his pic to remove any confusion.

hope you understand now

Garage List
V2 is still outdated and susceptible to the issues mentioned above.

not sure whats going on with it, the seller is a trusted member on here & seems to have had a lot of success with it, so i thought it might have been a reasonable proposition.

i've decided to play it ultra safe & just buy a new jb4 eventually.
cheers

Good idea.

They are up to v5's for PROcede's so getting a even a v2 would be not the best bang for your buck.

JB4s is a great alternative, as are Cobbs, OFTs or the later PROcede's (v5, rev 2.5/3).

I personally have a PROcede Rev 3 and am very happy with it. My gf has a JB4 on her car which is great but for my purposes I prefer my PROcede.
