headlight conversion?
I have standard headlights in my e90 3 series and want to change the headlights for either the OEM xenon or some Angel eye type. Do I need anything else for the conversion or is it as simple as swapping them straight over?
Thanks Greg |

I know the LCI lights with angel eyes are plug and play, as are most of the aftermarket halogen lights.
Fitting xenons is quite a bit more of a challenge as far as I'm aware, can need new modules and coding, as well as it supposed to have automatic leveling and headlight washers etc fitting.... |

if you fit 2nd hand LCI lights, do you need the lamp washers?

I got a set of (new tech)20w cree 4 chip led's 6000k which is very bright and very good value at 60 pounds, outer ring seems abit dim tho but thats the design flaws.
The best of the best is gp thunders (old tech now)which many people rate them good but i think is 200 odd quid . I had the v-shape one 6w 2-led 7000k ones before , the colour was very nice white with a tad of blue nothing chavy but they were not bright but the v-shape design got perfect balance light across both rings.
