ugh...this exhaust selection is killing me
Ok i have posted about exhaust 100000x so here it goes again...
I decided to order an exhaust within the next couple of days and the selection is killing me!! I am looking for a sound like Eisenmann Meiserchaft with quads but i absolutely cannot stand paying 2 grand for A SET OF MUFFLERS.....Maybe if the system was entirely catback but for muffler give me a break. All of the other exhaust i have heard are too tame for me. Another solution I was looking into was having my local exhaust shop build me a custom one. Another thing i was looking for was some nice big Quad tips very similar to Remus.... The eisenmann and this is really the only sounds i really have liked. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=76713 |

i agree with you man, picking out the perfect exhaust setup is hard IMO. Especially when what you specifically want cost 2k just for mufflers. Then again, you get what you pay for. My suggestion is to see what your exhaust shop can fab up. Definitely will be the cheapest solution and will produce roughly* the same power gains i would think. The choice is yours though. Me personally, am probably going to get my exhaust shop to custom fab some work for me. I just couldnt stand myself spending excess of 2k for full exhaust and install. But thats just me!

Wait... I thought that the Meisterschaft AND SR pipes were a little over 2k. I thought it was around $2200 for the full system. In any case, I couldn't justify dropping that much on an exhaust, but I do love the way that the full Meisterschaft system sounded. I ended up going with the CP-E exhaust and I have no regrets, I love the sound. Good luck deciding on an exhaust, I was beating my head into a wall before I pulled the trigger on one.

Nope, a bit over 2800 for both. The sport/race versions are about that price you posted.

you probably could go for the infamous bastuck+eisenmann mid (cat delete) pipes, and change the tips
they sound pretty sick

Wtf... I guess the prices just took a hike because I got a quote on the full meisterschaft setup around a month ago right before I ordered my CPE and it was never that much. That blows.

Are you sure? I first messaged Tony about the system a little over a month ago too, and it was that price back then also.
