Black Window Trim

I have an e92 335 coupe. How can I change it from chrome to black?

Has anyone painted it?

Do you have to buy it from BMW?

Is it hard to uninstall?

I dont think anyone has painted it, it would be too much of a hassle to take off. You can buy it from BMW but it will be ~700+. When I searched on this site I found that almost everyone bought matte black vinyl and put it on them selves. That involved cutting the pieces to roughly the same shape, putting it on, then cutting off the excess. of course you can always bring it to a vinyl shop and have them take care of it for you since it can be quite cumbersome/difficult.

One member here did have it painted. Without taking it off.

you can do it with Vinyl or painted it....Don't buy it from BMW, its a rip off IMO
