335 owner: missfire under 1/4 full?

Just want to share this info with all the 335 owners! My friend that works at BMW dealership say that 335 has a software problem with the tank under 1/4 full! If the tank is under 1/4 the engine might missfire. BMW is currently working on a new software to solve the problem. So for now all 335 owners should keep the tank over 1/4 full in order to void the chance of missfire.

Thanks for the info! 335i seems to have a lot of problem with the fuel system.

yes it does...and i am on Nasioc also (better community/forum )
i assume you may already know that the subie owner's are smart enough to
not abuse the throttle when low on fuel cuz they MAY get fuel cut/starvation...

Thanks, I'll try to keep the tank above the quarter mark all the time .. at least until BMW comes out with a patch software.

yes!
my engine light came on the 1st month i got the car.
The dealership advised that it was either bad batch of gas, or low fuel.
