new track wheels and tires etc

The track season is about to start, and yesterday I got the new track wheels and tires.

OZ Ultralaggera 8x18" front and 9x18" rear
Toyo R888 R-tires, 225/40-R18 front and 255/35-R18 rear

Customized K-MAC stage 2 camber plates:

Here is what they looked like originally:

Bilstein PSS9 coilover kit being installed:

Mods in addition to these are as follows:

Quaife ATB LSD diff.
B&M short shift kit
H&R front and rear anti-swaybar
OMP four point harness
CDV removed
EBC Yellowstuff R brake pads

And now some track pics. The first day of track driving we actually got snow! So I used my regular tires that day. To get an idea of the conditions we were driving in:

The snow eventually rained away, but it was still just above freezing and wet and slippery.

The second day was much better, and I finally got to test my new OZ wheels and Toyo R-compound tires:

Switching wheels and adjusting K-MAC camber plates:

I love them! Both the wheels and tires

Toyo R888 R-compound tires, as mentioned in the first post. You can read more about them here:

Nice wheels and tires but I wouldnt recommend using them or exposing them below 5 degrees celcius..

Keep up the good work I know you will have lots of fun with R- tires!! you probably wont use any more street rated tire for the circuit anymore!!

It's the K-MAC stage 2 camber plates pictured in the first post. Front camber angle is set to -2.5 degrees for track use. The rear wheels has got -1 degrees because of the lower Bilstein springs
