what do you mean by "they sent one wheel to get refinished?" are you running spare or something?
1. If not all TPMS are in place - computer will not reset.
2. If you got new TPMS, it will not detect it automatically
3. To reset TPMS you have to stop the car, it will not allow you to click reset while driving.
4. You have to drive couple of miles after you clicked reset.
5. TPMS can be two different types, don't remember when they switched (I guess after LCI release in 2010) but basically on your 07 should be old style TPMS and new ones will not work
