Transport question
Hi folks,
I just checked my owner's page yesterday and it looks like my car has been built! It is now "Awaiting Transportation" status. How long does the transportation process take? I'm on the West Coast, if that makes any difference. Also, I saw that some people knew the name of their transport ship and were able to check on its status/location. How can I find that out? Thanks much |

Bigrye. I'm an Oregon native. My car was built first week of September. Shipped on the 21st. It arrived at Port Hueneme on October 16th. It is currently on a truck headed for Portland. I am expecting to take delivery next friday, October 28th. So, they're running about 2 full months of waiting from the date of manufacture. Hope this helps you out dude.

This is my first post on this forum and I might say this is the best and most informative forum so far on the web. Placed my order in July for the 330i with the dealer but wanted CA so had to wait for the September build. It was shipped Sept 20th, arrived in Port Hueneme, Oct 19th and it will be in my possession on or around the 26th. Bigrye, can you tell me which BMW dealer you went to visit in the Seattle area?
