Very jelly. I just bought a 2010 328i 2 weeks ago and I regret my decision more then anything. Coming from a souped up MK5 R32 this is like driving a Geo Metro. What a POS this 328i is. Buyer regret? Me? Yea. Grats on getting a fun car. Wish I had done that.

Advice: don't let ANY friends into your car unless you 100% believe that they'll respect your ride.

Ok so what he's 16 and has rich parents. And there are kids who get lambos when they're 16 so whatever why try putting them all down? I'm sure if anyone else's parents had loads of money you'd do the same thing and get an expensive car...he had a $30k spending limit it isn't like he's going to go out and get a 89 corolla. I used to judge kids like that who had the M3's and AMG's..A LOT of them were asshole douchebags but you find a couple who are mature and respect the car. Like ahah quit judging guys ( - respect to those who did )..what are you guys stone him for being rich?
If you're a responsible kid what's the problem with having a nice car? Then again if you're irresponsible you're going to wreck it. Time will tell..anyways its 2 am idk what I'm saying. Ignore the haters....if you're a responsible kid that'll appreciate that great of a car, more power to you. Good luck. |

Wow this thread. Goes to show there alot of terrible people out there. Why on earth would anyone ever say "you're gonna wrap it around a pole", "you'll crash". Those are some spiteful and downright heartless things to say.
Yes, given OP's age, he is a higher risk for accidents, he is lucky and has rich parents who are willing to buy him expensive things. He may or may not be involved in an accident in the future, but then again, every single one us here has a chance too. And those who think "my kid is young I'll buy them a big old SUV or Pick up Truck", that can put others at risk if your children are careless. Do more to ensure they are responsible and know what they are doing rather than just put them in a tank and send them on their way. As for OP, congrats on the car! It looks great, few minor mods first will make a huge difference. enjoy and be safe! |

OP: May I suggest that this be your first purchase, ahead of any tune or bodykit or wheels?
http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Conte...S/default.aspx It's well worth every last penny, especially if you've never had any similar type of training before. Edit: realized I unwittingly participated in thread necromancy. Oh well.

I'm sure your dad payed for the e92 as did mine for whatever reason it may be, but I hope you dont have your "dad" pay for everything like repairs and mods to the car. I plan on becoming FBO and will definatly have a little more maintanance than you will ever encounter for your 335. With that being said, I am left to cover everything that needs to be done to the car and I have to pay for all of the mods I do. I hope you enjoy it, and for all of those haters from before in this thread, they were reacting to your attitude, but at the end of the day we are all here to seek advice and enjoy our cars. Heres a quick shot of mine in my school lot from this moring XD...
