Questions about JB4, ER FMIC, AR DPs--need help

ok title basically explains it, so here they are

1. i wanted to get these but at the same time im not sure can bring myself to spend all the money on my 08, and i was quoted to install FMIC and DPs it would be around 800 dollars, does that seem high or is that fairly normal or even a good deal?

2. i live in the North east, and i dont do runs at the track or anything and its basically just a weekend/daily car. so my question is if i never plan to plan to go over map 2 on jb4 do i really need an FMIC? i mean i do occasionally pull hard and get the turbos going but i dont like drag race

3.my car is at 30k miles and its CPO so idk how the previous owner treated it, ik its blown a head gasket twice, once while in my ownership but it was very early on, but since then ive put about 7k miles w/o problems (knock on wood). so is it a bad idea, conceivably, to put JB4 on my car? what issues might i run into?

thanks for the input guys

800 is quite alot for install, ive seen 150-300 for downpipes and 200-300 for front mount intercooler install. Intercoolers might be more because some arent just bolt ons and require cutting. try to ask a forum member if they can help you.

getting a larger intercooler is always a good idea. though there are plenty of cars running DP,tune, intake(stock IC) and run great!

and since your car is CPO, just watch out the intercooler and downpipes are easy to see/hear and they can void your CPO warranty if you have any engine problems.

The tune in my opinion i would highly suggest. because it is easy to take on and off for service. There shouldn't be issues after installation of the jb4. maybe extra wear on the engine and parts but nothing that will break or fail. if you run the wrong map you'll most likely get limp mode. change your plugs also!
