Not sure if you guys seen this exhaust for the N52, but probably the best sounding and looking one for our cars.
Damn the Japanese do things properly, if you've watched the video there is absolutely no part where it sounds like it could produce that head-aching drone. Unfortunately it's close to $3000USD!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Sounds great but that $3k price tag is ridiculous. You would be paying that much just for sound purposes only since I doubt you can get more than 5hp out of this thing.
That's the price of a quality N54/N55 exhaust but they actually see reasonable performance gains. |

That sounds great, Better than the BMW PE which also sounds great but this doesnt make that sounds when you let off like the PE that I do not like. like a rasp at the tips or something..

Wait you don't like the pops and gurgles when letting off the accelerator? That's the best part!

Best sounding exhaust I've heard for our cars.

Why so many bends on the pipes? Seems a little unnecessary

Is this for the 3.0 or 2.5?

sounds raspier on the 3.0, but on the 2.5 more refined and nicely sound.
I remember Toshi-san saying something about getting that right sound and eliminating drone from every RPM range. Doubt it, however if you were to replicate it I'm sure it wouldn't be the same... |

bs. i sounds better on the 3.0 as evidenced in that video :P and yeah they won't tell what manufacturer made the muffler.. people are guessing either tanabe or fame. no one has tested yet though ![]() the bends are (as far as i know) also to do with the unequal length stock headers, which making everything equal would, yes, TOTALLY change the sound, smooth it out .. would also help with performance, having the exhaust pulses not clashing.ED: if this fits on the 3 series just the same as it does on the 1 series (considering it seems pretty heavily geared towards the 130i in particular) that means that the 1 and 3 series have same exhaust pipe lengths/axle back sections! that's pretty cool news imo ![]() |

God damn it, fuck me. This exhaust sounds uber epic. If it were $1500, I'd sell my PE and pick this up.
