Installed MTEC V4 LED AE on E90
Thank E92-Lighting who helped me to get the LED light.
I have been doing some research on the forum and finally picked the brightest LED MTEC V4 (9W) in the market with easy DIY. The product feels solid and high quality. It's a big improvement over the stock light. It is pure plug and play. No error code. It looks really awesome. Here is a few thought I would like share. - The stock AE is one bulb lights two optical pipes. MTEC uses two LED bulbs for two pipes, one for each. - The stock light through the rings is thin compares with MTEC which really makes the ring brighter and thicker. - The stock light color is yellowish, the MTEC is bright white. - The MTEC matches with xenon head light perfectly. I'm very happy with this mod and turn on the AE whenever I'm on the road:-) Last edited by Novemberr; 10-16-2012 at 10:43 AM.. |

These look great! After some research I finally ordered the V4's from another vendor a few days ago. The Mtech seemed to be the best bang for the buck. The V3's are 6w and the V4's are 9w, correct? I will be sure to post photos also once installed.

It's not super pure white. I like a very little bright blue.
