There is a light blue that I have only seen one pic of. I believe it was only offered on the e93 for 2 years. I can't even find a color name.

Do you have the same breakdown for pre LCI E91. I'm curious how many Montego Blue (A51) Pre LCI E91's there are.

That means 625 cars in North America? I would indeed say that's more rare then... 5980...

No one said it was the most common, but 625 cars is not as rare as you think. Trust me on this one.

Mojave/Havana was available on coupes and convertibles only.

Just bought a Tasman Green Metallic with Saddle Brown interior 328I xDrive. Very nice color, looks grey/green depending on the light.

First post, but not new to BMW. Wife has a 2008 535xi and I also have a 2006 X5 3.0i. Wonderful automobiles!

I wonder if theres a breakdown by city/province of series? I doubt there's over 1000 3 series in Calgary.

Le Mans Blue did not replace any of the existing colors. It was introduced as an exclusive M Sport color on the E9x

My car is Arctic Metallic (A34) - 1 of the 625.
The color grew on me.
It does look very different under different lighting.
From blue to a muddy green.

The color didn't move well here in the Silicon Valley.
I got my car at Stevens Crook (Creek) BMW.
Anyway, I pad $6000 below book two years ago for a CPO car because they couldn't give it away.

Color wasn't worth $6K to me.
I like the color now and don't see many others.

Really, no-one likes the color? That worries me for re-selling mine haha.

The reason these colors are rare is because most people don't like them and didn't order them. So in that case, it isn't that special to have a 'rare' color. They may be cool to you, but the general public doesn't like then.

Honestly at 1st I didnt like the color at all, when i was in the market for an E90 I searched for close to 2 months and I would keep seeing the Arctic Metallic (my car) keep popping up and it was significantly lower in price than other colors that were equipped the same and mine was CPO. Finally went to see it in person and ended up buying it because the price was so low. Since then the color has grown on me and I've only ever seen a few others around me, mostly 325i and 328i and 1 E92 335i at the BMW dealership I go to.

Also the Arctic Metallic was only produced 2 years, 2006-2007 i believe. So thats why the production number for the color is soo low compared to the other colors above it on the list.

Really? Le Mans Blue is one of the most sought after colors - but due to it only being available on M-Sport there are not a lot available - not that people don't want it.... at least from what I have seen.

But I do agree that in some instances you are correct.

I would definitely agree looking at the stats for Sonora Metallic (A23) - 58, that color is hideous, no wonder only 58 were produced lol

I would say that Le Mans Blue is more exclusive being that the M sport is required to have it, such a nice color

Blue is one of the only exceptions in my mind, but like you said, it is because it was limited to m-sport. so many of the other colors just aren't that great.
