328I brake upgrade to 335I brakes
Ok, I have read a lot of posts pertaining to the 335I front brakes on the 328I and almost every post said that you need the hoses from the 335I. Looking at realoem.com it shows the same hose for the 335I and the 328I am I missing something? Why do people swap out the lines other than upgrading to better lines when they are the same?

Perhaps, but I know they are there!
On a different note and to the OP, I have toyed with the idea of a brake upgrade on my 328i but I've been rather impressed with the performance of the stock brakes. Also, the 335i brake caliper is just as ugly looking as the 328i brake caliper, there is just more ugly to look at. |

True, the 335i brake upgrade is just as ugly but it also won't make that much of a difference in stopping power. For the op: Pads, fluid, and tires will have a much greater impact. Larger rotors are mainly useful for improved cooling to allow for heavy use on the track but fairly pointless on the street.

Sure, your call. Check to make sure you don't have to change master cylinder, can't remember if it's really necessary, probably not.

No, all parts are the same from master cylinder all the way to the caliper. Caliper and rotor are different, I assume that the pads are also different but it would not surprise me if they were the same.
