Rimfire. I used a CZ457 borrowed from the club. I don't own a .22 but probably going to buy a CZ or Tikka with a good scope in left hand.

This is much harder than it looks. I scored 7 out of 40 from the standing position with the winner scoring 38. I think we had around 20 competitors which was not bad for a cold breezy day in March.

The club spent a lot of money on the trophies

My buddy loves his scoped Tikka.

It is very tough. And the people at the national level are insanely good. I used to work for a company that was big in high power, so sometimes I would go to those matches and the rimfire would be before or after it. I was at one in PA one time and a guy had a gun issue and missed 2 on his first bank. He just packed up and went home after the day. LOL If you miss 2 you are done at that level so he didn't want to waste his vacation time.

I sort of regret not picking one up when I could. It fit so well in terms of how I shoot. Went flashy instead and got a Kimber Raptor II chambered in the Lord's own caliber. Which I honestly still really enjoy shooting, but I can't help but think I'd be a heck of a lot more accurate with the CZ.

I am. I really like the 1911 as a frame too - heavy enough, especially with the .45, that its more of a push than a snap on recoil.

I find Glocks a little more snappy and I imagine its a lot due to the frame. I've shot them ok, not great, but ok. I'm not great with the 1911 either though, so what do I know. I just enjoy shooting.

I know!!! I've been trying to find a decent Smith & Wesson 5906 for years. The decent ones on Gun Broker are outrageous

Found a 5904 at Bass Pro about a year ago but that's not what I want. I'll keep looking.

Friend had one, still remember how smooth it felt compared to my Ruger P90 .45.

Picked up my new Gen 2 SCAR-17 today. I sold my old one a few months back in anticipation of this being released. Just gorgeous in person, I think it looks much better than the prior gen and the colors match more. I’m really looking forward to letting her rip and compare it to the prior gen. Softest shooting .308 ever!

Thanks, I'd been looking forward to getting it for some time now. My dad and I should have lots of fun with it. Luckily, I kept all the spare mags too, the 17 mags are like gold now!

I've got a Tikka T3 chambered in .223. It's my favorite rifle - silky smooth bolt and very accurate.
