Same crap we've had in WA. I just missed getting an M1A in 7.62x51 nato because my LGS f-d up the paperwork. Now anything semi auto except .22 LR is banned in the people's republic of Washington.

I like my 43x, it fits my hand and it's a little snappy but an effective conceal carry.

Did you see my post above yours? The Glock Store is taking pre-orders for 15 round Glock Factory mags. I think their store is in Nashville?

I need an optic for an M&P 15-22 so I'm taking a Sig Romeo 5 off of a 9mm carbine, and trying a Sig 1-6 LPVO on the carbine. Probably more suitable for a bit longer range than the Romeo 5.

Also looking at a shotgun, the Benelli Nova 3 or the Supernova. I have to travel to a store where I can shoulder them both and see how I like them.

Yep, I've got mine on pre-order. Never understood why they didn't come with 15 rounders in the first place. There is plenty of room. I suppose Glock got tired of aftermarket companies lining their pockets with easy money.

I have kinda lost interest in guns. No not ever being disarmed just not interested as a hobby. But THAT kinda created an itch. Very cool.

Good looking S&W!

Mounted the new scope tonight with a little help from my friend, tomorrow will sight it in. The thing is heavy; I suppose in case I need to beat something to death with it or pound in a few proud nails.

Is anyone a fan of Arken scopes / had them and have thoughts? I like the price point, I hear the glass is good for the price (Japanese), but man are they heavy scopes.

I have an Arken EP5 on my 308 bolt gun and EP5 Gen 2 on my 300 PRC. I really like mine. They have been solid out to 1000 yards so far with no issues. Unfortunately I don't have a high dollar scope to compare against personally, but there are lots of comparison videos on YouTube. And I don't mind the weight because they are on bench rest rifles. I might choose something lighter for a hunting rig tho.

Thanks - that's my concern too - my plan is to have this as a hunting rifle even if I might use it primarily use it at the range. Was looking at the xbolt 2 Hunter in .308 with a composite stock. That's about 6.5lbs without optic, mounts, rings etc. which is a great weight but don't want to throw it all away with an optic that might as well be made out of tungsten.

My brother really likes the arken. Ah decisions - I really like the price point of them.

each state has their own, like in VA we have virginia gun trader. Mostly because purchasing weapons across state lines is a no-no without an FFL

If I could love your post instead of "appreciate" . . . I would. It's ridiculous. Company's are now posting to their websites that they can't ship to VA anymore. unreal.
