Tapping noise Under the car.

Hey guys today i came home from a drive and left car running to get something. When i came out i hear a weird noise coming from under the car. It can be heard more from the passangers side under the car. Its like a constant tapping noise and i dont know what it is. Im getting a little paranoid becouse im out off warranty since last week i have 50321K. Still have 100k on engine and tranny. can somone please give me an idea of what it can be thanks.

are you sure it isn't just water dripping off the a/c?

just to let you know these cars make all sorts of noises once you turn them off, electrical and otherwise. I would take note of it and see if it changes/gets worse over time.

It's the valve tapping noise usually happens on the 328,325,330. I changed my oil from Castrol and went with Mobil1 and have not had the problem since.

Idk it went away today so im not that worried. I too got my cylinder head replaced and went with mobil 1 thanks for the help guys

The tapping noise i was hearing wa the metal part on the inside of the plastic underbody it was hinda loose. PROBLEM SOLVED
