iDrive Knob/Controller Not Working

Pulled out a few fuses to hardwire my Radar and noticed my iDrive knobs aren't working... The menu, knob, and voice button isn't working.

The display still works and I can still listen to music using my AUX connection.

I checked the connection under the iDrive knob and its connected. There doesn't seem to be power connected to the knob because it spins continuously instead of giving the feedback click when you normally turn it...

Any ideas? I rather not take it to the dealer because i have my mods...

im in the same situation as you.. but the only mod i can think of that might have somthing to do is the PBX.. which is messing with the ECU..
Any thoughts??

I have a jb3 tune but it was working fine for about a week or two... Then I pulled a few fuses out n stuck them back in and every since then it hasnt worked. Not sure If I accidentally put a fuse back in the wrong place.

I guess Ill look into the fuse box tmr.. see if theres anything loose..(i dont have the cover for the fuse box so its sitting wide open in the glovebox getting smashed with watever is in there) do you remember which fuse you pulled for the hardwire?

Homelink fuse... Its 28 -30 (cant remember exactly which one)... on my 07 335i. It may be different on ur car... I remember it being brown

hmm ok.. ill take a look tmr. and if i still cant find anything or fix it guess ill just have to go to the dealer again

checked everything.. knob still not working.. i guess ill go to the dealer sometime ....
