BMW OEM Winter Tires

Does BMW put the Bridgestone Potenza Performance Summer tires on year round or do they change to an all-season tire during winter month production?

Just curious more than anything.

I believe that you get the summer tires with the performance package and all the rest get all seasons but I am not positive about that.

BMW actually does sell winter tire sets and tires should change with the season.

If the question is if BMWs in the US are supplied from the factory with different tires depending on the time of year that they are sold, then the answer is no.

BMWs are supplied with tires that are appropriate to the trim or option level and are clearly identified as All Season or "summer performance." Summer performance tires are most often found on the upgrade wheel sizes on the Sport package option while most other will come (in the US at least) with all season tires.

In Germany you can buy a factory option winter tire set in addition to the summer tires that normally are fitted. That option doesn't exist in the US but your dealer will have a winter tire/wheel combo that they'll be glad to sell you.
