worth it
This is my favorite option out of everything else, i'm fully loaded and the keyless option is by far the best. It's favored by the ladies, they get very impressed when you don't have to unlock it with a key fob, it's also equivalent to heated seats as a matter of impressing them. The Keyless access is so convenient, just tap the door handle and it's locked, grab the handle and it's opened, jump in, hit the clutch n brakes, press start, and you're off. it's totally worth it.

Yes you can you go into settings and look for doors or something, the same place where you can choose to lock your doors automatically while you drive. So yes you can optimize it to open all doors just as you touch the drivers groove.

Of course, you're all missing the most important point. If I had a guy named Alfred to take care of all that stuff for me, I'd be driving the Batmobile to work, not my E90. I wonder if CA is standard equipment on the Batmobile...

I have a 2 week old 335i and I ended up with the CA and love it. Maybe I was used to it as my last 2 cars were infiniti's. I was on the fence but since I found one color I wanted etc, I bought it and spent the extra $500 for the CA.
worth it to me, I love it. best feature imo is you can get out of the car with windows/sunroof open, just hold your hand on the door handle and the car locks and rolls up the windows and closes the sun roof. great feature!! |

Love mine. I just keep my key in my 5th pocket (jeans) and never have to worry about it. Just gotta remember to take it out and put it in the ignition for valets.

Comfort access is the best thing ever! haha. It really comes in handy when you have your hands full and can't grab your key out of your pocket/purse. Only downside is that you should drive the car with the key in at least every few months to charge the key battery.

Yes.
I curse everytime I try to find my key to unlock my E46 while holding a handful of grocery bags.

CA strikes again. Take a look at the battery. It's absolutely not rechargeable. But you should put the fob in the dashboard slot before the car goes in for service so that the car can tell the fob how it feels.

Those of you with CA, do you keep your door unlock settings on "all" or on "driver door only"? If it's the latter, how do you let passengers in? Do you leave them out in the cold, yanking uselessly on the door handle while you climb in the car and fumble for the unlock button, or do you fish in your pocket or purse or briefcase for the fob?

+1 I almost always have something to put in the back seat or a passenger, so it is all unlock for me.
If I could change anything, I would make the car lock faster than it does when I touch the handle... |
