Got my inspection done yesterday too. I think I'm all ready to go. Pretty pumped. Is anyone else doing both days? I'm not sure whether I should try to stay at a hotel between Sat and Sun.

Did you get the email/forum post from Doug B.? Personally I would stay in a hotel near DIA. (But is it worth it at that point?) Edit: I would stay away from the Budget Host Longhorn Inn in Byers, I'd rather camp at the track. From Doug: ================ Finally, there are many hotels near Denver International Airport and around the Colfax/I-70 intersection. *This is about a 45 minute drive from HPR. *The Courtyard by Marriott, is well off I-70 on Tower Road, closer to the Pena Blvd/Tower intersection, has long offered a Fri/Sat racers discount special for $69/night. *When you reserve a room there, use promotional code r7z. *Or use this URL: http://www.stayatcourtyard.com/racing/

Yeah, that poor Z3 took quite a hit too.
Inspection's done, car has a clean bill of health, and looking forward to seeing how well the xi with it's floaty suspension will do on a real track. At least the back straight should be fast. Depending on how the schedule pans out, I'll probably try to make the Spring Drive as well. Don't need much of an excuse to go driving on some winding roads, amirite?

Not BMWCCA, but there is a Euro GTG this Sunday the 15th at 11am in the parking lot of the Chinese Movie Theater at Parker and Arapahoe.
They usually get quite a few cars at these early season meets |

Don't forget to go over your checklists! I almost forgot to pack my helmet! (That's the problem with getting too familiar with something. No wonder some professional pilots joke they wouldn't know how to fly their planes without check lists.)

That would be a tragedy for me come tomorrow.
BTW: http://www.rmcbmwcca.org/legacy/Driv...2011Spring.htm Forgot about this document: http://www.rmcbmwcca.org/legacy/Driv...al%2003-07.pdf There used to be an event day checklist (or maybe not?) on the RMC BMWCCA site. I found another: http://www.speedventures.com/events/trackchecklist.doc One thing not on the list: Deodorant/Antiperspirant and maybe a stick for your instructor.
