KICKER SSMB8s for under front seats
I've seen this speaker mentioned on other threads as a possible replacement for the under seat subs. Has anyone actually installed these yet?

Kicker SSMB8
I just had the Kicker SSMB8's put in under the seats, it took only about 4 hours for my installer to get them in there. I really need to consider lifting the seats up a little as no cover will go on. But they sound so much better than the factory speakers.

^ can you post pics?
and I'm assuming you went with an aftermarket amp as well, as I don't think the factory amp is that powerful to start

That Kicker looks really nice under there. Is it a direct fit or do you need to make special bracket for the speaker to fit? Is the stock cover can still be used?
I was planning to put Eartquake SWS-8 w 2 1/8" deep but haven't seen the pic of it installed. How deep your Kicker is?

They had to make a modification to hold the speaker in the factory ported enclosure, the kickers sit 2.5'' in depth. If I want to put the factory covers on, I will need to raise the seats a little. So you may be even better with the Earhquakes
