spring DIY went wrong!!!!

Some one please help me.

I tried to DIY H&R spring and I can't put the biggest bolt on the rear back.

Its half way on but not all the way in.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15397

I'm talking about the big bolt on the picture on step 4 of the link above.

What should I do? just to go dealer or shop to fix?

Please help....

Did you scroll over the 2nd page and see my picture? Do not remove the bolt next to the exhaust...remove the one near the wheel hub, then use a 2nd jack to jack up the arm and slide it in place, hit it with a hammer and get the bolt through...

Also some lube on the bolt would make it easier....right, Spool?

Yes! that is what I did.

I read till end of the thread and totally understood everything I should do.

But.. no I wouldn't go back. I was shaking, hammering, whatever I did, not working.

Okay, you have to make sure the bushings are parallel to the ground, cause if you force up the camber arm the wrong way, the bushing can be arched up, and wont line up with the hole...and then u can't fit the bolt through...so go back out, and line up the bushing with the arm, have a friend use a smaller jack to jack the camber arm up while you align it in...and put the bolt through, hammer it and it should go through...play around with it a little, it's a pain in the ass..

u need to center your jack under the arm differently the arm flexes therefore u can get the bolt in but not out the other side so there fore let your jack bak down a sec and realign it on the other side and it should put it right there to hammer it throught the rest of the way!!

Ok I did. it was so hard and I think I messed the wheel/suspension balance. Need to go to dealer soon to adjust them. And the car looks damn hot! I just washed it and waxed it. So, tomorrow, I will take some pics and post it! Thanks everyone for the inputs!!!!!! Love you guys!
