In the above there is some of the links of 14 part ytube series
on how to tune a dsp using a helix .

The Helix website has a bunch of software on it for your pc and the adjustment process . It basically duplicates what the guy on ytube did.
There may be a few new features by now.
Check the Helix website they are always updating there
PC software.

Controls may be little different but the process would be the same
for any DSP.

You can download the software now and start playing with it.
Helix and Match are the same company . I think its kind of like cars where you have Toyota and Infinity .
Though it's kind of a blurry difference.

If it was me I would want to tune myself.
As for the speakers be sure they are power matched
whatever you get.
thats great info thanks, ill be familiarizing myself with this.

These speakers aren't power matched, putting audisons 4" in splits in the front and leaving all other stock.. for now.

seriously thinking the door boards and 3 ways are the go, might need another Helix v eight by then haha

I picked up the v eight yesterday

What I mean is the power for speakers and the power for amp channels
should both be in the ballpark for a power match.

The thing about focals is they are harsh on the high end and don't
go very low for the 4 inch size.
Its hard to find a door speaker that does every thing well and fits
in an e92 .

The 4 inch speaker that goes the lowest and has a warm sound is
Morels as far as I know but it does not fit in the e92 easily.

If you got Jehnert doorboard you wouldn't have to worry about
bridging the gap as much.

there are quite few 3 way kits for BMW now I can't say which ones
are really best. I think 6spdcoupe likes Jehnerts for everything
for most cases.
Don't forget the under seat speakers they are important for mid range
and mid bass.

The DSP should do a lot to tame everything no matter what you get.

O and there was a guy on here that had Jehnert doorboards he used two channels per side for the doorboards I belive.
6pdcoupd knows how to wire those up.
Also I believe the v8 has two extra dsp channels for subs or
whatever.(apart from the 8 amped channels)

MOST fiber optic system split for 2 devices ????

So im curious if the bmws MOST fiber could be split with a Y or a splitter so i can run a GROM mst4 for bluetooth/usb audio and also add HELIX sdmi25 to and toslink input amplifier/dsp prob helix......im just not sure if im bein redundant cuz im sure theres a bluetooth optical amp out there but its probabaly super expensive or if this would work....the prob is i already have the GROM so i kinda wana use it but if u guys have some better solutions/ideas plase let me know im interested in ur thoughts.......THANKS FOR THE INPUT PPL

All you have to do with the Grom is add it in as the cd player.
which means programming the cd player active and adding it
into the most loop . There is no splicing for anything on the Most Loop.
This is assuming you have the BMW Grom designed for the Most Loop.

Mobridge makes expensive preamps that can change Bmw Most to
toslink but I don't thing it's a cost effective solution
