Your asking price is - not realistic... I sold my oem EURO HALOGEN headlights for e90... much higher demand, 23904320x more rare, and I sold those for $160 picked up.
Maybe you should post these on Craigs and hope someone who just crashed their e90 would get this :/

Run a quick Craigslist search to get a realistic idea of what the market fetches for a set of halo's. After a 2 second search the first pair I found had been sitting there for 22 days and the seller was asking $160. As I'm sure you have realized over these past two years, are that the halo's aren't considered an upgrade (read: much lower demand) and the only folks who may actually need halo's are those who have damaged their lower end/early model e90's and need a replacement (assuming they don't upgrade to OEM or eBay Xenons). I don't mean to thread crap, but if it were me I would post them up for $100obo... Probably negotiate to $65-80 for the set and call it a day. Or you could always open them up and experiment with them?? Just an idea. |

Can definitely appreciate the OBO, but when you're asking price is higher than people expect, you'll tend to get flamed. GLWS...

PM sent.
Yes, the lenses will fit. It's just the housing that's obviously different. However, I'm just trying to sell them as a whole. Thanks for the interest though.

i don't get it.. you've waited 2 years (almost 3) to sell these headlights at your asking price. they havent been sold yet coz clearly people don't value them as much as you, but you still think that $300 is a reasonable offer

Well I do have them at 300 OBO, so to be honest even in the low 200's I'm fine with

I need a pair of early halogen basic HDLs SHIPPED. I'm all over all of the BMW forums with good trader feedback, so you know my paypal is good! Will cost you no more than $40 to hit the UPS store and turn these into $. Or stop at Lowe's, buy a box, some tape, pick up a newspaper and then drop a prepaid box off at the UPS store, FedEx or USPS and it will cost <$30.
I'm willing to spend $200 plus the $40 it will cost you to ship. Turn this offer down and the community will breathe a collective sigh. BTW reading through 3 pages of FS ad and all of the constructive criticism, I'm impressed by your patience. Personally, I juts like to give stuff away when it gets embarrassing! |

OMG, finally we can all celebrate! Yay! However, in retrospect - OP could have sold these 3 years ago for same $200 locally IF he was willing to listen to the voice of common sense. I have a similar neighbor and he is selling his 10 y.o. mini for twice as much as they cost on market. It's been 2nd year he is selling already and funny thing is it's now worth even less, since it is 2 years older and cars depreciate quickly - and nope, he is still not lowering price. Some people are either level 80 of patience or it's just greed and silliness combined - not sure which one... but as reality shows you can think you are smarter than market and you own it, but in the end it's market who owns you...
