Best places for a car photo shoot around Stamford CT?

As the title states. With spring being around the corner, actually starting yesterday, I want to get a proper photo shoot. Anyone have any prime locations around Stamford CT that are a sick back drop for a E92? Thanks

I don't know many people locally in general so no.. but I do have a buddy who is in town every now and then who is into that kinda stuff. Something I'd like to get into as well. I'll let you know when he is around.

Buildings.. ehh not fairfield county's strong point (at least high rises).. Hit up the main town streets in any of the nice burbs.. The strips are nice just post up and take a few pics when no one is around.. Early AM or at night would be best so you don't have a bunch of cars around messing up your pic or people giving making you feel insecure with their stares. Greenwich and Darien are probably the closest burbs for that..

It is very simple. In fact NASA is holding their season opener event at LRP this weekend.. Assuming you've never been on track, group 1 (beginners) sold out but you can still sign up for Hyperdrive. Think of HD as an intro to track day course, $50 gets you 1 classroom and 1 session on track.

I'll be there along with another e90post member, come out and do a session. It'll be the best mod you ever did.

There are dozens of clubs you can roll with, NASA, SCCA, EMRA, PCA, Trackdaze, Chin, TT4C just to name a few. But if you're just starting out you're probably better off with NASA.

How about down by canal st? I shop at Fairway from time to time, and there are lots of industrial like locations there. I am planning on buying new lens for my Nikon soon, so I would be up for photo shoot. As long as u don't mind e60 tagging along.

www.motorsportreg.com

Filter for Driver School and radius/zip code to see who's at LRP.

bookmarked... thanks the lunch session actually sounded perfect for me.. and so reasonably priced.. 95 out the door with the NASA membership fee.. I started to get serious about it, but quickly realized there is no chance I have my car ready for a track session by the weekend lol. Do they allow spectators at these events? Ride alongs?

You don't need to pay membership fee for Hyperdrive. It should've been $50 out the door. Ride alongs, doubtful unless you paid/signed up for an event. Else there's a potential insurance liability. But watching is free, although it'd be more fun to come on a day where they have races.

Folks get so preoccupied trying to make sure there car is ready, ie get their mods in order and what not. A stock car is beyond any of our skills in the beginning. Plus Hyperdrive is so watered down it's not demanding on the car at all. As long as your car is safe and in good maintenance (ie no leaky flulids), you should focus more on developing driver skill and less on supporting mods.

Even better! I know you can plop anything around a track, but unfortunately I managed to scrape my lip hard enough (no i'm not lowered at all) that it popped out a few of my bumper screws between the bumper and fender.. including one in the fender lining.. easily fixable, but i simply don't have the time this week.. i'd still consider driving it as is, but just feel very bleh about showing up with a car in that state as minor as it is.

You just gotta get out and around man! I took all these (in Stamford)

....and I have about a million others in different locations that I havn't edited.

I'd love to get down to the new Harbor Point area (past Fairway), so if you're interested let me know and we can do some recon.

So down for all of this! Those are the type locations I am looking for. I can tell from the first picture that is the garage behind Planet Fitness in Stamford? It helps that you really know what your doing with photography.
