Sorry to go off topic long time reader, minimal poster. Very intelligent people on this forum. I dont think i would have been brave enough do modify my 335is without this forum. I was wondering for those of you who have a custom tune with MHD and ********. Is anyone having trouble to send emails to Dimitri lately seems the email service is giving issues and his website domain is no longer active ?

Jake @ Motiv Motorsport did mine and I had a great experience. However, a friend of mine tried to schedule some dyno time with him recently and he wasn't able to do it for a while, so he may be out of office or swamped at the moment.

Really ?? Without notice or heads up ..? I had received an email couple months backwith map updates. I had been waiting on good weather before sending some logs and yea the gmail emails are just boucing back. Any recommendations i guess who can carry on or similar style and drivability to B q ...

How is the ride quality? I have the Eibach springs and Bilstein shocks that come as a package and the ride is sort of rough. And it's barely lowered at all! Definitely not as low as your car. I can be okay with the stiffness of it, but the fact that it makes sounds when going over bumps is annoying. Not sure if it's scraping the tires or what. It's not a loose metal janky suspension sound. It's just loud in the cabin. Compared to it being totally quiet before the upgrade it kind of sucks. I had the same setup on my Audi and I don't recall it being noisey on my last car.

Also, how is driving around town with that lip? Problems on speed bumps or driveways? I have the same lip as you and I took it off because it was already having scraping issues on driveways before it was even lowered.

Hmmm first it's hard for me to say how they felt compared to stock because my stock struts were pretty much all shot.

But overall ride quality I'd say is... like, not bad but not smooth either. My E92 is my "racecar"/fun car so I didn't really care how the ride was going to be no matter what but I did get comments where people didn't even think I had coil overs because the ride was still not terrible you know.

I'm not to old either so maybe harsh rides feel les harsh for me.

As for the sound I can't say I noticed any particular change.

Haha yeah it does, in fact my bumper right now scrapes everywhere (broke the lip) so with the lip it's worse. Speedbumps I always take them at an angle and my driveway to since it's a bit hilly.

But yeah I'm surely gonna get a new lip, car just looks empty without it IMO.

You mean you had different height options for the Bilstein? I only had one.

I had an incident in my 11 335is coupe where I had 2 bottle of windshield washer fluid in the trunk and one apparently leaked and got to the amplifier.


Currently I have 0 sound and tried looking online for the replacement part but I am seeing all sorts of options here.

Can anyone help me locate the part # for the amp? I have the harmon kardon sound package as well.

There should be a part number on the amp. Type that into Google or FCP Euro and it should come up.

No there was only one. I just meant that when I was shopping around for separate springs I was considering a lower drop. But I decided on the package which was a bit more conservative. It's kinda funny, I spend almost $2K on the suspension and install and there is barely a noticeable difference in ride height.

Man that sucks, similar thing happened to me to. I have the individual audio and it's popping now, work halfway. A new one is 1800$ And nothing on ebay.

Your ride looks and sits much nicer after for sure.... if you're like me, I hated the front wheel gap being bigger than the rear.... even a bit more so when I put the top down. Made it appear like I was transporting a ton a bricks in my trunk! Drove me crazy I hardly drove it. Not that I have the KW v2's... with a 15mm spacer in the rear for added flexibility, I am way happier. Got rid of my Potenza rubber bands, and replaced with meatier Nittos... the ride and feel is soo much better and worth the $3k investment.
