Getting close to 50k miles. Want to know if any 328 2007+. Models out there that pasted the 50k mark. I don't care for 335 models strictly 328. How is your car handling after the 50k. And did you have any problems? If you extended the warranty (not the maintenance) did you have problems with the dealership? 3rd party warranty problems? List your issues here. I found too many posts for 335 models

I have two 2007 328xi's in my garage. One is at 55k miles and the other is still under warranty. I have no trouble so far, but am going to purchase a code reader to diagnose my own issues BEFORE taking to a shop to see if I can't do the work myself.

My wife drives her 2006 E90 325i and average 120+ hwy miles a day and she currently has over 136,000 miles on this car. All of the maintenance has been done fairly close to the books and it has been a great car, except for the driver’s side door lock assembly. The one that I bought today will be the forth and I know the driver’s side door panel like the back of my hand. They always seem to go out when it gets real hot outside.
One thing we don’t follow on the maintenance schedule is the life time transmission BS, I have it flushed and the filter changed every 50,000 with the factory recommended Tran’s fluid/filter. Your BMW dealer will do this for you if are persistent, and it won't void the warranty.

Anyway, this car has been a great car and has practically been one of the most dependable cars I have ever owned with the exception of my old 94 E32 740i.
