E93 - Fiber Optic Routing - Need Help.

Gents,

Has anyone got a routing or a picture of a fiber optics that run from the LH side panel to the back of the car? I didn't see the routing session in the manual. Some bikes for example like Ducati has it. Does BMW actually has one? ISTA?

Also there was 1 twist pairs BL/GN & BL/GR that was chopped off. No idea where these ones go. Anyone?

Thanks in advance. AK

Stereo sub forum has some stereo stuff.

You will need ista D to get wiring diagrams now that
BMW has locked the tis website.

You may not even have a Most Bus if you live in Europe and have
no bluetooth , telephone, DAB or Mulf modules.

Last picture you had up look like the Most Hub where the feed from the front of the car (Head Unit ) distributes the
Most to any modules you may have in the Trunk.

ISTA+ has the most wiring diagrams but they are not useful. wiring-functional-info/body/audio-video-telephone-navigation-most-ring/most-functions

Fiber routing is custom based on the options the car has. And older cars have pre-wiring that is there but not connected to the bus. So there is not a common diagram. What are you trying to do with the fiber?

Trace your blue wire back to the trunk and see if it goes to the amp.

Ahh ctuna my man.

Cheers mate. You have always been very helpful.

I ran through your pile of useful data and looks like BMW also has their routing schematic will dig in to that.

Also found some useful pics on the optic routing now collecting jigsaws. Just wanna make it looks tidy that's all

From some sch in your links it looks like that wires will fall in to the right rear speaker but we are on the left side of the RHD car and the left rear speaker one is the orange/yellowish shown in the pic so I still have no clue on this.

Really appreciated your time and effort here.

Cheers mate. The optic wires are in tact. Just that they didnt want to cut it like other wires so I just wanna put it back in place and make it looks tidy.

Once we can pop the top up and we will see where that chopped wires come from. Now I feed her the battery from the front hood and she seems to respond well. Not much drama here. Not much of error codes. Just no response on starting/remote/hard top yet. My jump wire might be too small I gonna get the beefy ones today see if it works.

Ok guys. The roof was up. The wires in question was the rear right speeker. It was cut in the trunk and somehow protruded out on the left side to make us confuse LOL. There was another pairs that was cut I don't know why but I reconnected them all.

Anyways, the optics are properly tidied up and routed. Connected to the amplifier and cd player. Now working with some music on. Eveything went well.

Thank you guys a lot for time and effort. Really appreciated. AK

this is headunit type
if you have 5 band eq menu, then you have logic7/top-hifi/harman-kardon

Cheers mate. I do have 5 or more band (cant remember will check)eq but no h/k badge anywhere. Sounds good especially on cd. I thought aux input sound terrible and no right channel but found out my mini cable is broken last week. Now it sounds acceptable.
