"EN ROUTE" Status

FINALLY! after over a week of Awaiting Transport status, I checked OC this morning and its EN ROUTE

Could someone help me out by telling me what ships left yesterday or the day before headed for the east coast?

You might be on the Liberty with me. My status did not change to en route till 2 days after the Liberty left. You can call your CA to confirm.

Really? I think BimmerB may be correct about the delay on the OC site.
Waiting for a callback from my CA to confirm the departure date and the ship name.

the 800 number in the post below is updated much more frequently. it had the information that my car was on a boat 2-3 days before the OC system was updated.

I'm on the Liberty as well. When is the estimated delivery for it? I'm not going to be home in November to pick it up, does that mean I can just leave it at the dealer and pick it up when I come back home in the beginning of December?

Estimated arrival date is 10/22...
As for the rest of your questions you should call your CA he/she would have more knowledge of those details

LOL wow... my car is going to be here way earlier than expected. I think it is possible to just leave it at the dealer for a couple weeks, but I don't want them giving other customers test drives in my car. Do you think that would be a problem?

When I spoke to my CA, I brought up the same concerns and he said that the car is kept in plastic at the dealerships holding facility (probably some open lot) until I call to setup a time to come and pick it up. At which time they will prep the car and take it for a quick drive to make sure its ready, should have no more than 5 miles on it, which is typical OD reading for most ppl picking up new cars.
But again we bought our cars from different dealerships so you should call your CA for more details.

I know my car went to sea early in the week, and I assumed it was on the Liberty. I didn't know Atlantic Cartier sailed the same day - perhaps my car is aboard her instead of the Liberty. Looks like Atlantic Carrier is a bit slower than Liberty. Maybe her bottom's dirty or the crew needs to stop drinkin' Captain Morgan, put away the Buffett CDs and get on deck and raise the mizzen.

Hmm, car still inot on a ship yet -- I'm beginning to think something is wrong being that I finished production on 10/1 and it's now 10/12. Is almost two weeks waiting time normal?
