Rattle On Lift Off?
Sun made an appearance today and on a tip run with the windows down, I noticed a rattle on lift off. Went away when I put my foot down. Any ideas before I take it into the dealers? Seemed to be coming from the rear of the car, possibly the l/h side so thinking an exhaust heat sheild or something if it has such a thing???

For me, it was the one exhaust hanger near the secondary cats. It has two vertical bolts that are 15mm i think and a horizontal piece that supports the exhaust tubes

I had a rattle when I would lift and then when I would step on the throttle. It only happened when I was driving around 10-25 mph. It was the flap in the exhaust not closing all the way and was rattling against the exhaust. I took the vacuum line off of it and it fixed the problem. Golf tee mod.

For my e92 I believe it's my secondary cats, still original with 140k and I have catless headers. Yeah I'm pretty sure they are beyond toast and need to be replaced with some high flows since I'm pretty sure the cat cells are breaking apart and rattling
