Rough/odd shifts with Stage 3 xHP

I'm hoping someone can get me some insight into my tranny and some rough/odd shifts with xHP.

I let a friend drive my car to test out xHP Stage 3 in manual mode, wasn't happy with the decision as he was redlining it pretty hard when shifting . Ever since then my tranny has not been shifting quite the same, the shifts now seem at different shift points in S mode and a little rough, not slipping but definitely not as smooth. Prior to that was really happy with Stage 3.

I've attached a screenshot of my adaptation values as I have no idea what's typical. Thanks guys.

Does your shift into 4th gear feel soft? I have a similar e clutch (drum) value of 96ms on the AWD and this shift is def softer than the other shifts driving normally. Full throttle shifts are fine but I've heard that the e drum is the weak link on these tranny's.
I bought the customization module to use the max rpm feature to make sure the trans shifts instead of letting it hit the rev limiter. The one time I let it hit the limiter (before the customization module) it actually ignored my input to shift until I backed out of the throttle.

If I am not in complete WOT all the shifts in S mode are soft and shift real quick as if there is little difference between D and S mode while previously there was a clear difference even at 60-70% throttle. In M mode it feels almost the same but just maybe not as snappier as before especially like you said in 4th to 5th. Sport mode just feels completely different. Do you feel any improvement with the customization pack?

My thought was to flash Stage 2 at some point because I have it and see if it makes a difference and if it does eventually flash back to Stage 3.

Great point MW! I'm at 69k and have never replaced them. I'm planning to change my transmission fluid very soon so might as well do both.

Any idea what's the general rule of thumb to change the transmission solenoids, and what's the ballpark cost parts/labor at an Indy? I typically do all my preventative maintenance myself, but just don't feel comfortable anything tranny related.

I'd replace the various megatronic sleeves & the "bump" stop in there too. I can't remember it's official name, but it looks like a rubber square.

Try flashing again and take it easy for a bit...Also for my 08 X i went into torque reduction and put it -10 on all shifts and so far (20 miles or so) it is shifting great.

Thanks MW. Not as difficult as a job as I thought. I subscribe to his videos too, awesome DIY's. Apparently missed that one.

Yep, no problem. The cost of the solenoids has come down a lot in the last year or so. I remember seeing them north of $350.00.

I'll probably do mine next summer

kinda off topic, but I just flashed MHD stg1 v8 onto my otherwise stock 150,000km 07 335i and twice now I have had the car hit the limter in first instead of shifting into second... letting off the throttle then allows the car to shift into 2nd. im going to service the gearbox and replace the sealing sleeves to see if this resolves the issue.

I produced this DIY a couple years ago and my transmission has been awesome since.

Did you drive it easy for at least 50 miles before really revving it?

No, it had done around 30 kms when I really revved it. I was aware of the 'break in' period following an xHp flash however I wasnt aware that this was needed for an MHD tune - I guess it makes sense seeing as the torque delivery is changed.
